CRC Industries
Career Resources Corp. is a private not for profit social service agency that is dedicated to providing services for people with disabilities. Individuals receive employment services such as skills instruction, career counseling and job placement services which enable them to become gainfully employed contributing members of their community.

CRC Industries, division of Career Resources Corp., provides direct employment daily for more than 80 people with disabilities at their main facility in Haverhill, MA, as a means to assess and enhance their work skills.

CRC Industries has more than 8,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehouse space. They are well staffed and equipped for light assembly and contract packaging projects, such as the Howie's Hearts brand products.

Puppies Behind Bars
Puppies Behind Bars, a privately funded, non-profit organization, trains inmates to raise guide dogs for the blind and explosive detection canines for law enforcement agencies. The puppies live in prison with their "puppy raisers" from the age of eight weeks to eighteen months. As the puppies mature into well-loved, well-behaved dogs, their raisers learn what it means to contribute to society rather than take from it.

Puppies Behind Bars receives specially-bred Labrador Retrievers from guide dog schools and places them with carefully screened and trained inmates in the tri-state area. The dogs enter prison when they are eight weeks old and live there, with their "puppy raisers", for the next sixteen months. During that time the inmates are completely responsible for the care and training of the dogs. Puppies Behind Bars staff go into the prisons each week to conduct classes, help the inmates with their work, monitor the dogs, and supervise the dogs' and inmates' progress.
